After finally deciding I was never going to advance in this particular organization, I was just promoted to the position of the agency's safety manager. More money, more to go wrong. I'm now responsible for the safety of 1800 employees, many of whom operate and dirve heavy machinery and equipment; it's going to be quite a ride. I look forward to the challenge.
I've supervised before, and taught coutless hours of management classes, but any advice from my forum fellows that will keep me out of Morons in Management wil be most welcome.
