New job, same work

After leaving BBV in favor of school, going to Cambodia for a medical mission, and coming home again to start a new semester, I got a new job! I get to work the closing shift at a hospital gift shop. No worries, it's only 2 pm to 7 pm Monday through Friday. Not to mention they are paying me well. Hooray!

I even ran into a nurse that was on the Cambodia trip today during my first shift of training! The new shop I was hired for opens next Monday and is ridiculously close to campus and home. I'm jazzed.

Woo! After only 6 days of my new job, I've been given a raise! I was put on a 90 day probationary/trial period initially, and today one of my bosses told me that they decided to waive that for me and give me my raise! They said I was doing such a good job that they wanted to show their appreciation. Wee! $11/hour here I come!
