  • Now THIS is what we like to hear!!!

We never get emails even tho I pass out cards all the time & tell people to send us one so they can get on the contact list.
We finally got one & damn it made me smile:

A couple of weeks ago, my boyfriend and I were pleasantly surprised by your music. We wanted to just sit back and eat and drink a couple of beers, and when we walked into the Cantina, you were on a break. Before long, we’d ordered and your music began. We enjoyed it so much that we lingered longer over our dinner and drinks to hear you play. I especially liked the lead singer and how you all harmonized. That was probably one of the most pleasant evenings we’ve spent in some time.

I sent Charlie up to ask if you had any CDs, and he said that you wanted me to email you. I am doing that now, because I do hope that you will send your music on to us. We intend to spend time when we can, at one of your next gigs. Thanks for the enjoyment for the evening, and if you do have CDs, I’d love to have one. I will send my address when I hear from you again.

    Thanks so much,
    Elizabeth
Of course they'll get a CD,hell I'm gonna ask 'em what size they wear so I can make 'em T-shirts!

It's always nice to hear how one is performing-- especially if one is a musician. That was a very nice, well-worded email! (color me impressed... ) Trot this out and try for a raise?
