I've survived one whole year at my workplace...

On Nov. 22, 2010, I started my first day at the call center, going through orientation and starting two weeks of training. I really never imagined I'd still be there a year later...and sometimes I wish I wasn't, but it's not all bad. I am a bit miffed that I didn't get my "congratulations" balloon today, though...hmph! I shared this anniversary with three other women who used to work in the other department with me and started training at the same time...we're the only ones left of the group that got moved to High End Home Store. Yay us

Thanks...and I actually think it will be OK there tomorrow since we don't have any Black Friday deals (We are having a sale but it's the same kind of sale we've had at least 3-4 times before in the past 6 months...and it's only good on full price items.)

It's survivable as long as you don't let the sucky ones get to you personally. They're rarely really angry with YOU. Even if they are, it's very uncommon and most likely you made an innocent mistake. Hopefully your bosses and coworkers will be fun, like mine, and make it worthwhile
