Ive been at my current place of employment 5 months today
After 3 months my probation ended but with the politics and power games some of the staff play, it hasnt been done and was nearly two months overdue.
So last night at 10 minutes to close I got hauled out the back and had my "3 month review" and this morning at 9:30 I offically signed my employment agreement!!!!
I now get benefits (rrsp, medical, dental etc) and my boyfriend is covered to! Im now entitled to an insane amount of days off (close to 20) and from my start date 2 weeks vacation pay (increasing one week a year every two years).
Best part of that.... I got a $1 an hour raise!!!!!
YAY!!!!! Im more stoaked about the raise than anything else! It sure will help the bank account!
