2 places have called me this week and I am excited. One is for a patient care tech in an ER and the other one is as a camp health officer. Camp health officer is short-term but I would be able to take a leave to be able to work there. I cannot do both though, but the er tech may not hire me because I am still slightly new to this field.
I've been slightly stressing because I have a month left in my paramedic program and a month left in my first nursing clinicals and no one has returned my applications. I've applied for ambulance companies, hospitals, and some things like the EMT camp position. I've even put down friends that work for the companies as references and no call backs. I guess it may take them some months to get the ball rolling.
Knowing my luck, I'll have so many callbacks that I don't know what to do.
