My husband called me on Wednesday night, just like he always does. He had been in Alabama this week, about 400 miles from home. He told me that he suspected that he had a kidney stone, but wanted to wait til Friday when he got back home to go to the ER.
He wound up going to the ER there in Alabama, and it was confirmed that he has kidney stones, and was given meds for it. He then drove home, even though I'd offered multiple times to come get him. He got home right around 4 yesterday afternoon.
I hate seeing him in such pain, and really don't have any idea of how I can help him. All I can think of is to offer him water and rest.
