    Jay: there are different types of intelligences, after all! Just glad she's not a near-luddite, like my mother. I don't think she quite gets the "it's just as bad as real life" thing. or maybe she does?? I'm really glad your mom understands.

      speaking as someone with seizure disorder/epilepsy...thank you for distracting the bebe...speakin as a mom...i understand the wringing hands routine...

        Speaking as someone who spent 3 months in traction waiting to find out if she would walk again, thanks for getting the little one something she could do as a distraction (my then husband brought in a small tv borrowed from family and our only game system - nintendo- for me.) When you are stuck in bed, unable to leave, the boredom is 10 times worse than any other time.
