Back in May, I had both ends done. The prep for the nether regions was worse than any after effects. I did wind up with TMJ problems for about 6 weeks afterwards from the mouthpiece they put in place for the upper scope, but that resolved itself in time.

The procedure itself was no big deal, but they did knock me out for it.
Everything will be ok in the end. If it's not ok, it's not the end.

Thank you. I'll be sure to book a session with my myotherapist for after my scope, so she can be sure to work on my TMJ if I need it.

      1. Would you rather be right, or get the result you want?
      2. If you're consistently getting results you don't want, change what you do.
      3. Deal with the situation you have now, however it occurred.
      4. Accept the consequences of your decisions.

When they did mine a couple years ago they knocked me out, it was like I was sleeping really deeply while they did it. Then when they woke me up my throat wasn't raw at all.
