    FINAL DIAGNOSIS!

Okay, so what happened was that apparently I had a flare up of ECZEMA! I didn't even know I had eczema, but she said that's what the inflammation and irritation was, and it must've been interfering with the tick bite healing.

It's healed over nicely now - it managed to do it during the two weeks I was waiting for the test results back. Now I just need to deal with the irritation and eczema flare up around the bite. She gave me a script for a steroid cream, which I will be using.

She said it was a very special kind of eczema, I can't remember the signifying word but I know it started with an "F".

Anyway, all is well! No infections, nothing crazy. Just eczema. XD
    My Writing Blog -Updated 05/06/2013
It's so I can get ideas out of my head, I decided to put it in a blog in case people are bored or are curious as to the (many) things in progress.

Flexural eczema? That's another name for atopic dermatitis.

Your best friends will be Lac Hydrin V, Aquaphor, and cotton clothes (as opposed to wool or synthetics).

Have to be careful, though. Sometimes contact dermatitis masquerades as atopic, and vice versa. I've got both (as well as seborrhoeic dermatitis and xerotic eczema - it's a little of everything!), and it's sometimes very difficult to tell which is which. The treatment is different for each (at least for me, YMMV), so I have to pay very close attention and make sure I'm only using the steroid cream on the atopic. It usually also means I have to change up my soaps again.
