  • Wow. Impressive!

I took a patient into A&E (ER) after the car he was in crashed & burst into flames (he was a very lucky man with only a minor cut to his arm from broken glass).

While we were waiting in ambulance arrivals he decide he really wasn't feeling well
    "I'm going to be sick"
    "Let me grab a bowl"
    0.25s later
    *BLEUGH!*
(enter Dr, stage right) Really? You didn't get him a bowl?
I pat myself down to illustrate I can't pull one out my arse then the nurses turn up with the trolley we requested & I could see the look on their faces when they saw the pt had vomited 5' across the floor.

I don't think I was very popular that night.
A PSA, if I may, as well as another.

I always keep bowls in my ass. Theyre extremely handy....but uncomfortable.

I wouldnt have been mad at ya. Shit (and vomit) happens.

They should give you air sickness bags to carry on your person; then you could have a couple folded in your pocket or something.

We have vom bags, but they have solid plastic rings around the top so that there's a better aiming point. Unfortunately this means they no longer fit in a pocket, well no pockets I have anywhere on my person.

My little blue friends!!! When I go in for a chemo treatment, have at least 2 in my purse - would hate to defile Mom's new car on the way home. The closest we've come was tossing the cookies 5 minutes after we walked in the house.
