GF Restaurant Sucky Family Sighting

My girlfriend was having dinner with her mother tonight at place near where she works. I still can't quite believe what she just told me.

There was a woman there with three kids, and she was playing with her cell phone, not paying attention while the kids were throwing food. Then the woman noticed GF and her mom looking at the kids' terrible behavior in a public place and took exception to it.

Sucky Woman: Haven't you ever eaten next to kids?? Behave kids because those two ladies keep giving us nasty looks!

Then it seems they started "whispering" insults, including the little boy calling my GF fat.

It made her and her mom incredibly angry and uncomfortable. When they left another woman who'd heard the whole thing said that woman was horrible and would raise horrible children.

I'd say she already has.

See, I would have told her that I've eaten next to WELL-BEHAVED kids and that there's a little thing called "supervision....you should try it." Probably would have gotten my ass thrown out of the restaurant for mouthing off.

Man, my mom or dad would have just bitch slapped the hell out of me if I threw food anywhere: public or private. Ditto if I'd said nasty things about another person in public.

Manners and good behavior was expected . . . and enforced. And it didn't take long for me to learn those lessons . . . it's really not that hard to teach kids these things.

But you have to care.
