I just got back from a wander towards the estate agents. I passed a gaggle of people, whose main complaint was:

"Oh, the roads are so full of cars these days."

Of course, they were having their conversation in the middle of a side road.

Own up - who do they shop with?

Were they old enough to remember when the roads were full of horses?

They were probably old enough to remember looking at herds of horses and wondering if they could be used for anything other than food.
