Note: Both stories happened at one of those generic national pizza delivery type places. Also in this state, possession and consumption of the leafy green recreational pharmaceutical is still considered illegal.
1) Store restaurant manager broke up with her boyfriend. Few days afterwards, as a ‘peace’ offering, ex-boyfriend shows up to manager’s place of work with a couple cigarettes.(hint: they are not Marlboros). The manager and a few other employees start smoking them in the location after closing it for the night. Some of those employees included the assistant managers for that store. While this was going on, the ex-boyfriend was secretly recording them with his phone. Couple days later a video appeared on you tube titled ‘smoking pot at maple street pizza place’. Not to long after it appeared on You Tube. Everyone in the video got shown the door, rather quickly. A friend of mine, who works at another location in this chain told me that his location had give up one of their assistant managers for a bit, while they replaced and trained new management for the original location. The video was taken down shortly afterwards.
2) Same pizza chain different location. (Actually it is the location that gave up one of the assistants in the story above). Driver takes a pizza out on delivery. Nothing to special, only thing noteworthy was the tip. When driver gets back to the restaurant, the manager in charge of the shift is on a complaint call. The complaint is the customer is accusing the driver of stealing their pot that was in the kitchen. (This meant that the driver, who is about the size of NFL lineman, would’ve had to go in the front door, past them, through the living room and into the kitchen without anyone seeing.) The manager who took the call asks if they could prove it, which they said they couldn’t. She then recommended that if they can prove it, then they really need to call the police to file a report. Later the manager asked the driver about the delivery, and the driver's response was ‘Wow, I guess should’ve taken their pot, it would’ve made up for the 3 cent tip they gave me’
