I once ordered a steak meal - steak, baked potato, and broccoli. The steak was cooked to shoe leather, and the broccoli was mush. Only the baked potato was edible. They did remake both of them after I sent it back, but honestly, on what planet is that edible food?

I half wonder if Word From On High was, "Don't mention anything, if someone complains blame it on the milk and don'the offer to remake unless they insist or make a scene" that could be the source of the deer in the headlights expression too...maybe. hard to say, really.
