I was out late getting a nice pizza for dinner when I decided to stop by Kohl's on my way back. Did a bit of browsing and scored a nice soft fuzzy purple pillow on clearance (5.99, down from original price of 29.99! Whee!); that was the only thing I bought (Kohl's = temptation!).
The store was closing soon, so I got in line to pay. Ahead of me was another customer (not an SC, just a nice reg'lar customer) buying a *ton* of clothes and stuff (as I overheard it, she was preparing to go on a cruise with her family so maybe they needed/wanted some nice new stuffages to take on their trip - I've done the same thing myself sometimes). Took a few minutes for the cashier to ring everything up, and I just stood there quiet, in a relatively good mood (for reasons not the least of which being that I am moving OUT of this sand dump called Florida, yay!), waiting my turn.
I guess the cashier found this remarkable, because she thanked me several times for being so patient during the wait (Me? Patient? AHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA *is ADD-star graduate of Insta-Gratification*
). And the transaction concluded most happily with each of us wishing the other a pleasant evening.
Just a nice little story I thought I would share. I freakin' love Kohl's, I always have good experiences when I go there.

traded Canadian tourist stories (since I was one) and such.... Gas station folks were awesome at all the places I stopped, and the people in Wisconsin Dells were incredible
