  • Dine & Dash @ IHOP

When we got to IHOP yesterday, we were seated near a large group of young people who were either getting breakfast before going to work or getting breakfast because they were still out from a night of partying/hanging out.

Anyways, they were complaining about one "friend" of theirs. He came to IHOP with them, ordered, ate his food, then said he was going to the bathroom and never returned! Come to find out, he had no money and no credit cards to cover his food. He stuck his friends with his bill. Oy ... to be a fly on the wall when his friends go to talk to him about his dine & dash.

Yep, I think he's going to be one unhappy camper. The sick part? If he'd asked, I'm sure they'd have been willing to front him the money for a promise of repayment. As long as he's not a jackass or something, and being his friends, they'd be the ones to know.

Hell, if one of my friends doesn't have enough I'll buy them breakfast! All they have to do is ask (and not order the lobster...)

I'm the same way with my friends. We're always paying for each other. We've lost track of how much we "owe" to the other. It's always paid back with either company, going out or just being there for each other, you know?
