My Roomie The SC

My roomie is normally a nice guy but the way he's been dealing with a local Italian eatery is making me see red. This guy mumbles his order and is known to change his mind mid-order. This results in the restaurant's mixing up his order on a couple of occasions. Rather than call them up and inform them of this he bitches and moans about it.

Now when he calls them he speaks in this insufferably rude tone and lectures them about what they got wrong the last time he ordered. He even brags that he "no longer tips them" and how he's a really great tipper normally. I once got so annoyed I told him to no longer deal with the place if he had so much trouble. Of course he can't "the food there is too good". Also if the restaurant tells him they'll be there in 40 minutes, he starts whining after only 20.

When my boyfriend and I order from there, we give clear though out orders, are polite and we tip. Our orders have never ever been wrong. If only he could see that and stop being such an SC.

Sorry for the rant it's just so annoying.

Mmm. Maybe if he started tipping again, the word would get around that he's worth dealing with again.

Little does he know that every time his number comes up on the caller ID they draw straws to see who gets to deal with him. Aw look, the newbie lost again!

Well Duh! He is in the Sucky Customer Time Zone! Where 1min. actual time equals 10min. SC Time. Of course, this varies greatly depending on the level of SC.
