I was in Target today to pay a bill. I stood in line where 2 associates were trying to help an SC realize that paying a credit card with a credit card is a bad idea. The woman kept insisting she had "done this before." and did not have a debit card, check or cash. Um paying 1 unsecured item with another unsecured item? Not gonna happen. I thought about sending her to a bank to get a cash advance at a nice high interest rate but decided to watch her whine on her cell phone. I sympathized with the nice associates and gave them my check and left. They did a heroic job of NOT laughing at the SC.

I have to admit that there was a point in time where I did that...paid one Visa with a transfer check from another; but that was by mail, not in person. That was also in the days of the credit card wars where there was no fee and very low interest for a set period of time.

Aaahhhh...to be young and stupid again.....
Everything will be ok in the end. If it's not ok, it's not the end.

And that was a check, not an actual card. This woman had a credit card and did not understand and did not want to go get a cash advance to pay the card (bad idea BTW)
