AWESOME service last night :D

Thought for a change, I'd post something happy and such

So I took my car in for an oil change last night. Necessary evil, and I'm not into crawling under the car to do it myself (I doubt I'd fit anyway). So I showed up *nearly* an hour early for my appointment (yes, I make appointments).... I told the guy I knew I was early, but I was more than prepared to wait until my own time slot, as I'd brought a book, etc. He was kind of amused, I think.. I said I just wanted to take advantage of their A/C since my apartment didn't have any LOL

So I went and sat down in the waiting room... FIFTEEN minutes later, a full FORTY MINUTES before my scheduled appointment, they were done! AWESOME! Paid my $20, hightailed it home, and arrived AT HOME just before my scheduled appointment I am a very happy camper I love the service at my dealership

That's always nice! i take my car in for oil changes on Sat mornings; drive 45 mins to my mechanic, and since he knows this, if they're not busy, i go to the local Panera, get some coffee and a bagel, and come back in half an hour, and its done. I used to be able to walk to my parents and annoy them for a while, but since they moved 400 mi away, a little tough to do!

I am guilty of being early for appts, but I will always say I am, and sit down to wait. And many times, I am in and out as you were, BEFORE my scheduled time.

I usually do my own oil changes. But when I am lazy, I will take it in. Sometimes I will make an appointment, and when I do, I am usually out before the appointment time, since I went in early
