Usually my mom is the nicest person, but she has a temper. This was passed down to pretty much everyone in the family except me for some reason. Trust me, don't get in her way when she's mad. The other day my mom and I went to Wal-mart and collected a bunch of stuff in the cart, including an 8 dollar copy of the DVD Little Miss Sunshine
. My mom then found a shelf she had been looking for that was on sale at the other wal-mart but was out of stock there. It was here but full price.
My mom asked an employee if she could get it for the sale price, and the girl told her to go ask customer service. So we went to customer service and asked the people there, and they called a manager. The manager came and told her that the other store had different sales than them and she would have to pay full price. My mom said "Thanks but no thanks" and gave them the shelf.
She then came over to where I was waiting with the cart and said "let's go" and started to leave. I said "But aren't you going to buy this other stuff?" and my mom was like "No!" and I said "But what about Little Miss Sunshine?" My mom: "Can't we get that at the other wal-mart?" I said "No I never saw it there." My mom grabbed the cart, pulled it into a lane and started slamming all the items onto the belt, and ignored the girl when she asked how was your day. Anyway, I managed to keep her from leaving a cart full of items in the middle of the store, but I'm not a miracle worker. The worst part is when my mom's mad no one can talk to her. She takes it out on everyone. She barely spoke to me for the next hour. Feels good to vent.
