My grandfather has had the same problem. He may be in his 70s and grey but he has been working with computers since they were room sized and used punch cards. He tests operating systems for Microsoft in his spare time and gets to go to all their fancy VIP conferences. He wandered into a computer shop to get some software and the sales guy tried to talk him out of it, saying it was so complicated for someone his age. Snort, my grandfather could have written it himself but why waste the time?

Actually, my point was, to quote an old commercial, "A Geek gets it done, a Nerd doesn't." A Geek does everything a Nerd does, does it better, and does more things than a Nerd.
