So I went out for some BK at lunch today, and wound up going inside because the drive-thru lane was backed up into an adjacent store's parking lot and I knew I'd get more cranky waiting in line in my car than among people.
Funny enough I was able to walk right up to the counter and place my order as soon as I went in. The kitchen, of course, was slammed due to the drive-thru traffic, and the MOD was going frantically from filling orders to waiting customers to taking drive-thru orders and yelling to the back that he still needs the junior burger with onions.
Along comes this woman who gets the manager's attention -- he must've thought she was missing something from her order or somesuch -- and she says something to him about the bathroom being dirty. (I couldn't quite catch it all.) He yells to someone in the back in heavily accented Spanish and turns to apologize to the lady, telling her they're really busy and shortstaffed as several people called out today.
Her response? As if I need to write it down for all y'all...
"Well if you're not going to keep the bathrooms clean (for the kids! [I think that's what she said]) then I'm not coming to eat here again."
After she leaves, I heard the manager mutter to one of the other employees who's overheard the whole thing, "I don't think I've ever seen her in here before."
