  • CW goes to visit an SC

I heard this from a co-worker of mine. I really hope this is true!

A girl at work is basically losing her faith in humanity after dealing with so many SC's. An SC comes up to the bar and orders a cocktail. CW presents the drink.

CW: That will be £X.XX please.
SC: Oh, that's a bit much...

    SC shrugs her shoulders.

SC: I don't want it now.
CW: But I've just made this!
    SC: And it's too expensive.
CW: Can I just ask where you work?
SC: The sandwich shop down the road...why?
    CW: Just wondering.

SC exits the bar, leaving CW very annoyed.

The next day, CW goes into town and visits said sandwich shop. She makes a massive order of baguettes, sandwiches and wraps. The SC is serving her.

    SC: That will be £XX.XX
CW: Oh, that's a bit much...

    CW shrugs her shoulders.

CW: I don't want it now.

    CW exits the building.

While I'm sure that felt good and I am a big believer in letting the punishment fit the crime, your CW crossed the line into SCville. Another one lost to SCs, damn them all to the bloody bowels of hell.

I wish I would have thought of this! I hope it is true. However, I don't think I would have the balls to be that sucky, even to a SC.

            Deserved and served.

Revenge might be costly, but that was NOT sucky.

She did a wonderful thing to a deserving person. Kudos to your CW.

Good for your CW. If a line was crossed here, it needed to be.

That is a great thing that she did. I probably would have done the same thing.

This is really only just retribution IF the SC owns the sandwich shop. Otherwise, CW's actions have cost the true owner a bunch of money. Which of course will be passed along to the sandwich shop's customers......

Isn't there prices posted somewhere for this stuff? You should of looked or even asked the price before your ordered the drink.

Most places don't post their drink prices so you don't look at the drinks, get sticker shock, and order something else (like soda, coffee, tea, etc.). Nope, they save the sticker shock for the bill. So you get the bill and go, "That *drink* cost me $8!!!!! WTF?"
