Last night I went out with the group of girls that will be my brides maids, and M (the future hubby)

so as not to confuse people or myself while writing this, I'll call the servers...S1 and S2.

Now S1 greeted us and seated us, then walked off, got us some menus and walked off again. While we decided on what to get my friend R flagged down S2 and asked him how large the Pizza's were. After he told us she then asked him how many would they feed? and how many he personally thought we should get. S2 was really nice, started joking around, pointed to M and said

S2 " well he'll need one all to himself"

Then counted how many of us were at the table, and said,

S2 "three should be enough, or 4"

At that point S1 comes up, butts in and goes

S1" couldn't help but overhear you were asking about how many you should order, I think you should get 5 they are really thin!"
"sorry I just thought I should tell you since this is my table and I'm the one thats meant to be serving you"
WTF? I thought that was a bit snippy

anyways S2 sort of shrugs it off with a awquard laugh and leaves and we go back to picking out what we wanted. Eventually we make a decision, and I notice S1 is standing behind me, I turn around to see if he's talking to anyone, see he's not busy, and try and flag him down and get a rather sharp response

S1 "yeah, ok, I'll be with you soon ok" (it was in a rather snippy and angry tone)

Sort of put off, thinking I've somehow wronged him by simply wanting him to come to the table I decide to leave it. He then comes to the table, takes our order and goes. The whole time he was *sighing* and seemed really put out. All of us were rather confused, we all felt like we had done something wrong.

When he set our table up he got grumpy with my friend MK for trying to help him move things out of the way saying

S1 "just leave it ok, I'll work it out"

After that he didn't serve us, other people came out to give us out pizza's and salad. That part we didn't mind, we really felt like somehow we'd done something.

When we got the bill, we once again tried to flag him down, but it seemed like he "wasn't looking" in our direction every time we tried so we just got someone else to get it for us.

the pizza's were nice, everything else was nice, but this is the second time I've been to that place and be made to feel like me being there was a huge inconvenience for the servers. I think I'll just order out from there from now on, I can't be bothered dealing with people like that.

Maybe he felt that if he's not going to get a tip, NO ONE is going to get a tip.
