yeah it's illegal in most places i believe. i know for a fact it's illegal in VA.

i was at a driving course where they mentioned the law about exposing children to porn... they brought it up cos it's also a driving law... illegal to use one of those in-car dvd players for porn... you have to have tinted windows and keep them totally closed.

and ... even if the people working there won't do anything, you can always call the cops. i'm sure he'd run fast.

Heh. I'm 5'8' and 150 lbs. I can't keep my mouth shut to save my life. Mostly because I have a semi-decent sense of morality, and will put people in their place.

That being said, you know some of us would have done something. However, far more people would do what you did, attempt to tell someone who could have bit of power to do something about it. Your first attempt failed. Should you have done more? eh, seems like your were thinking or wasting time, as you had time to realize he was gone.

The only problem is defining what constitutes a "sex offender." There are 4-year-olds getting tagged with that status for things like pressing their face against a teacher's chest during a hug.
