  • Blinded by the light...

It was the end of summer and I was waiting in line to return something at Wallyworld. Just people watching cause the line was really long.

This guy comes walking around the corner (wearing sunglasses) with a lady, dragging his large poodle. The dog is crouching trying to go to the bathroom and they are trying to hurry on out.

Well the dog just starts to pee all over. The guy looks back and then all of a sudden stops in his tracks and turns his head up pretending to be blind ( kinda like Ray charles when he was playing the piano) and tugging on the leash.

The lady kept walking but when she saw what he was doing she came back and escorted him out of the building, not even bothering to tell anyone that there was dog pee EVERYWHERE.

Revved up like a douche(?), another roller in the night...

Back on topic...I pity the poor soul who had to clean that up.

Thank you for reminding me of that comedy skit. http://www.unoriginal.com/tvl/blinded.html

And this is why the stores I worked at worked very hard to enforce the No Pets rule. Only animals we saw were the seeing-eye dogs, the miniatures people brought in in their purses/sweaters, and the birds that managed to get in but couldn't find their way back out.

Another reason why I'm satisfied been in a mall rather than a standalone store, even though my store is right at the entrance.. We only get dogs rarely (strays, or slack owners that don't tie them up well enough). Its always bemusing to see the cleaners and other centre staff spend their time chasing them out and telling them to get out. They turn around, the dog comes right back in.

I hate when they bring their animals in! Some lady brought her poodle in and set the stupid thing right down on my counter. I'm allergic to dogs. I was sneezing up a storm. Leave pets at home!
