This is actually a sucky workers story & I heard about it from the patient's son-in-law.
Man goes in for tests on his heart. There are irregularities. More tests are done, including 2 with cameras through veins. 4th test is being done & new doctor looking at results. He hooks patient to different device. Frowns and tells patient that he has good news. There is nothing wrong with his heart
Doctor calls emergency staff meeting with those who had done 1st 3 tests. Briefly: new procedure, you were all trained. When you see this *shows patient's tests* result on a test, you plug the patient to that device. None of you did so. You are fired. If he decides to sue you for pain, suffering and unnecessary medical procedures, I will support him. I will be an expert witness for the prosecution.
