Grocery store grumbles (some language)

no more strained backs, and it even has reverse!

the older versions the battery only lasts a couple hours, then takes a few hours to charge. the newer versions of those kick ass, but you have to be 18 to operate them, and they(my SM just bought us a new one before the holidays, so if it's the QuickCart this is true) do not have reverse on the remote, they have a turtle for go super slow, a rabbit for go "fast", a button for the horn, and a stop button that really doesn't do anything because it stops as soon as you let off the button, but to back up the line you either have to take the time to strap them together, or push the whole line by hand, and, even though most of us are perfectly capable of doing so with ease, why would we violate policy for an SC?

Wow, well I have two things to say, first of all for the poor cart guy-

We had a beautiful day the other day and I offered to help outside and push some carts as I was sick and tired of being inside and cashiering, and I have to say- never again! The job is fine, I could do it happily, it was the asshole customers who treat you like shit- they get mad if carts are there, they get mad if you try and clear the lot, they get mat at YOU because obviously YOU left the cart right in the middle of the parking spot, not some jackass like themselves.

I take it you didn't find any diapers? I found 3 just yesterday

I've frequently heard "you know, if somebody got those carts in there'd be twice the parking out there". no bitch, people cram their carts into select parking spaces, there may be 5% more parking if the lot is trashed, but there are still parking spaces if it's not black friday

As a cart person I know all to well the pressures that are on us. I hate HATE when the drivers ride up your ass when you are pushing carts in. I got flipped off by some old guy once
