My wife & I went out for ice cream last night.
This place is an institution in the area. They'd never dare open a Coldstone, Ben & Jerry's in the area because this place would put them under.
We get there at 8:30 and of course there is a line. We end up in line behind two 14-15 year old girls. And there was a lot of "oh my god" and "Oh yeah" and "oh when I wear a tight bra I get that". Not to mention the constant texting with the flipping expensive phones. And the one girl who kept pulling on her shirt, up down, all around.
It was the closest I've been to seeing a 15 year old topless since I was 15 (and I felt disgusted and kept looking away).
We finally get close to where you order, and a family comes in the exit door. I said to my wife "oh that's good come in the exit when you can see the line stretching around the store"
They look around a bit and I hear the one guy say "last time I was here I could just walk right up to the counter, there was no line, but I guess to the back of the line with me"
And then he stood there looking expectantly for someone to say "Oh, hop in front of me, I've only been waiting for 10 minutes". He finally goes to the back of the line with the kids while the woman he's with stands there looking pissy for a little while longer before she moves too.Comment

Poor kid. Marble Slab is awesome, but her mom had to be an idiot and deprive her of it.
I had Marble Slab the other day, key lime with raspberries. It was the first time I'd ever been there so I didn't have that much time to think about toppings, but now I want to go back and get chocolate with strawberries.
It is a terrible thing to see and have no vision.
