  • BK Drive-Through Sighting

Took daughter to the pediatrician today (Well Baby Check-up, School Physical & School vaccines all rolled into one! YAY!). Then I decided to treat her to BK goodness.

In my entire town, there is only one local BK with a drive-through in it. (The only other BK is inside the outlet mall). The line was long, but inching forward. The little p.o.s. car in front of me inched to the "Order Here" thingee. Then I noticed something I'd only read about:

The passenger of the car was ordering! I was like: This couldn't be happening! The order took longer than it should have because of this moronic broad. And I could tell they were ticked off because they had to repeat their order. Oi.

How odd. I've been the 'ordering passenger' before. You tell the driver what you want, and they do the "talk to the box" thing. You mean the passenger was leaning over, yelling into the order box?

Gotta wonder WTF is wrong with the driver, dontcha?

My mom makes me do this crap all the time. My mom has a hard time pronouncing certain words. so shes just sick of the workers saying "what" .

My fiance and I do that all the time.

He always orders half the menu (not really, but he can eat a LOT and he usually orders stuff to eat the next day too), so if I'm driving, I'd rather he just lean over and yell over me then telling me he wants a double cheeseburger no onion, a chocolate milkshake, a medium fry, a grilled chicken sandwich extra mayo, chicken nuggets with barbecue sauce, 6 ketchup packets, a fish sandwich, side salad with ranch dressing no croutons, a kid's meal with a toy for a boy, and small Diet Coke () .
        I work at Walgreens.

(I'm just tired of mentioning it every time I want to relate to a story. )

What's wrong with that? I often have my wife do the ordering, simply because she remembers much better what everyone wants. I usually need a grocery list for everyone.

Because its harder for the order taker to hear the order if they are in the passinger seat of the car. You also have things like outside noise to worry about as well. And if you end up with flaming pile of fuckstains in a big ass diseal who refuse to turn it off then you just cant make out if they said cheeseburger or 47 milkshakes.
My Karma ran over your dogma.

When I know I'm going to be an ordering passenger...I sit in the back seat, directly behind the driver. Best solution all around.
