good for you 7-11 clerk

I just got back from 7-11 and my favorite clerk there was working and he passed on this little gem... apparently a guy prepaid for his gas with a $100 bill yesterday, he put only $40 worth in his tank... then drove off without his change... apparently they have it in the safe with his license plate number written on the envelope... I think supposedly if he doesn't claim it after like 30 days or something like that it get's split between the people working that night, and the clerk I was talking to was the only guy working that night... so if in 30 days this guy hasn't claimed it he gets a $60 bonus...

gotta love benefiting from other people's stupidity, because if he didn't go back later that night what's the likelihood of this idiot ever remembering "oh crap, I paid $60 more than I needed to for gas"

Roughly 50/50, I'd say. But I'd go another 50/50 that he'll just think "the punk kid who works there will have stolen it now" and not go back for it.

If he does go back, he's in for a pleasant surprise.
