Equal parts sucky and downright stupid. Last night the hubby and I were driving home. It was dark, and as we were coming up on our street, we saw a huge group of young "adults" in the road. Now, any normal person would have gotten out of the way of a car coming, but since this is CS, we know differently. The little hooligans lined up across the road as if to play Red Rover with the car! As we got closer, some of them scattered and the rest started making obscene gestures and one kid with green underpants* started smacking his rear in a Kiss My *** kind of way. They finally deign to let our car pass and I'm left wondering who dropped these people on their heads as infants to make them so stupid. Seriously, in what universe is something like that funny?! They're lucky we saw them, or someone would have gotten hurt. And quite frankly, with as many of them as there were, if we had hit one of them, I'd have told the hubby to gun it for the church across from the subdivision and tell the cops to meet us there. I wouldn't want my car destroyed and my husband and I probably beaten.

*Incidentally, why, oh WHY must I see the underpants of every teenaged or 20-something male in the country? It looks rediculous.
I am no longer of capable of the emotion you humans call “compassion”. Though I can feign it in exchange for an hourly wage. (Gravekeeper)

Well that's gotta have me depressed. I thought some of the youth around here were idiots. I see it is universal.

Lucky there are MORE respectful youths out there, we just don't see em.

There's a group of kids like that up the road from where I live. The road they live on is a major one for the back side of the neighborhood---where the court I live on is located. Was coming home from work one evening and group of them were across the road. Only one of them had any light clothes on and they were right around a curve...and people like to park on the road on this street. So I really can't see them...they scattered, but one shouted at me to "slow down".

Not my fault they're idiots...or the speed limit is 25 mph.
