Yup, again, I've talked to her about this problem, and she doesn't seem to care.
She treats everyone the same, so luckily she is one manager that doesn't give in to customers.
A few weeks ago: Suckyness 1
She called her client (who works for a major alarm company) to get an alarm system for a house she owns, as well as a motion-sensor for the large lot behind it. She wants it to set the alarm IF ANYONE SETS FOOT ON HER PROPERTY. This property is bigger than some parks, FYI. She also wants to have 3 police officers there within 45 seconds if the alarm goes because of this. She was told that it wouldn't happen, her response "Yes, IT WILL! BECAUSE I SAID it will."
Suckyness 2 - TODAY at Big Orange Box Hardware Store
1) Looking at kitchen sinks
2) Notices that there are none of the ones she wants
3) I write down SKU and go to customer service to see if any other local stores have stock of it, I'm hoping that she says they do, because I'm not asking "Can you have someone check the back" - They had 15.
4) Plumber is with her, and finds someone in Appliances, which at this location is the same department, yup, Plumbing and Appliances are the same, but not all plumbing, just sinks and toilets. Plumber asks for them to get the sink.
5) said person, and person working with her go to get it, She complains to me (they are right behind her writing down the SKU), loudly, at the other end of the sink aisle, "idiots cannot even spend the time MY PURCHASES PAY FOR walking around finding customers who NEED HELP"
6) Employee responds "well, ask, and we help"
6) I replied (She did complain to me, after all) "Agreed. CUSTOMERS who DEMAND service IN THE WAY THEY WANT IT, INSTEAD OF HOW THE MANAGER WANTS SERVICE RENDERED (bold because i'm yelling now and employees have unsure look on their face) ARE WHERE THE PROBLEM LIES, NOT WITH EMPLOYEES FOLLOWING CORPORATE POLICY. IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH CORPORATE POLICY, TAKE IT UP WITH SOMEONE IN THE CORPORATE OFFICE
7) She yelled really loud "Wheres the Manager, I NEED THE MANAGER NOW" and walked to pay
Suckyness 3
She hired a plumber to do work at 2 houses. Negotiated his rate from $55/hr to $45. Service call fee $60 instead of $85. After 12 hours of solid work fixing stuff in 2 houses, and returning her rental truck to a car rental company because she didn't want to drive it, yet she rented it to move her furniture
, he presented her a bill for $400 - 10 Hours and waived the service call fee. She gives him $350 and said "I'll pay you $35 per hour".

She treats everyone the same, so luckily she is one manager that doesn't give in to customers.

I will admit that the auditor DID screw up, but still.
