I'm in line at customer service to pay for having a door cut to the right size and have the bottom core glued back on.
Ahead of me:
RB: Return B****
CSR1: CSR
CSR2: Second CDR
RB: I'd like to return these two pictures
CSR1: Alright, do you have your receipt?
RB: Um, you see, that's the thing, I don't keep receipts.
CSR1: Alright, well I can still give you store credit.
RB: Okay, thanks.
CSR1: Alright, they're currently on sale for $9.99 each, so you'll be receiving $22.58, including GST and PST.
RB: But I paid $20 each, so you'll give me double that.
CSR1: I'll ask my supervisor, but before I can enter a price override, I'll need a piece of photo ID.
RB: Gives DL, info is entered in
CSR1 calls CSR2 to get manager
CSR2: I'll check the sale history of it first, I think they've been in clearance for a while (which would mean Final Sale)
CSR2: Sorry, but it's been in the clearance section for almost four months, and our return policy is only 90 days, and final sale on clearance items, but I'll give you store credit at the current price.
CSR1: [prints return slip] Alright, sign here and I'll give you your gift card
RB: Reads, WHY is my address on this? It's ILLEGAL to put someone's address on a receipt
[grabs items and DL, walks away] and It's ILLEGAL to not accept a return at the full price.
Me: Excuse me, ma'am, but stores LEGALLY don't have to offer any refund.
[I get evil look, she walks away]
