Hey, my elementary school mascot is a bulldog (colors are red and white). Mind you, there were no colors or mascot when I was there, but the little girl I babysat when I was in college showed me her jacket, and her yearbook...she was in first grade!

Middle school: Black and gold (no mascot that I recall The Generals)

High school: Navy blue and gold (mascot was the "Colonial"). Our big rival was light blue and yellow, and their mascot is the Patriot. (Same town; there's Town Boro and Town Township. The town I grew up in is home to the Battle of Monmouth of the Revolutionary War. I lived in the Township but I went to the Boro because I lived less than 1/2 mile away from the school. But since I lived outside the Boro, I got a bus (which I never took - my parents dropped us off in the morning because we all left at the same time, and I walked home). Way to allocate those resources.)

College: Navy blue and gray. Mascot is the Bluejay. It's a scrappy, fighting bird. Usually depicted with his dukes up.

        Maroon and bottle green.

No mascot I was aware of, I'm not sure british schools have mascots unless they're posh.

Had a similar incident back in the DOS days. Bought a copy (academic discount) of MS Word 4.0, and it looked like the tab for one section of the manual was missing (gap in the row of tabs). I wrote to them, explained the situation, and asked if there was supposed to be one which was accidentally omitted, or if there was supposed to be the gap. They wrote back that there should have been a tab for that section.

Took a second letter asking for the tab before they sent it. Seriously - if something has been left out of the manual (in a binder, so the tab was easy to insert), maybe the user wants it? It's not as if I had told them that there were no disks in the package (as someone trying to scam a free copy might) - the tab would be of no use to anyone who didn't have the legitimate copy and manual.
