  • Petco Poop(don't read if you just ate)

As gross as it sounds. I'm not really sure how to classify this one. It is Petco's policy to let people bring in animals on leashes so this kind of thing is bound to happen, but this woman was a little over the top.

I went to Petco this afternoon to get cat maintenance products. I turned down the aisle with the litter and there on the floor was about half of a gigantic turd. The other half had been "compressed" by a large paw and tracked out of sight. I needed litter on the other side of the turd, so I went back up front to find someone.

When I get there, this woman with a huge mastiff-type dog is arguing with the MOD because an employee stopped her and washed off the dogs' foot. I mean, how dare he? Apparently the dog had tracked its crap over half of the store before it was noticed.

I'm not blaming the dog, it did what dogs do. I'm not saying she shouldn't bring the dog in, Petco allows it so why not? I'm just saying if the dog drops a bomb in the cat litter aisle it is NOT OK to just walk off. Go get someone for cryin' out loud!!

If the dog is on leash, there is no possible way that should be able to go un-noticed.

Yuk. The down-side of pet-friendly stores. Remind me to be more careful in Animates next (I guess our Animates is pretty much = your Petco).

I estimate this dog at about 180-200 lbs. BIG, indeed.

They also have little "clean up after your pet" stations, with paper towels, plastic bags, and a trash can.

And she was mad because an employee cleaned off her dog's foot? She should be glad they didn't make her do and then kick her and her dog out of the store.

and... just walking away from your dog's poo without cleaning it up is illegal in some areas - littering basically.

is it wrong for me to hope that she brings a guest over and that guest drops a big steamer in the middle of her floor?

Is it wrong of me that this post made me . I mean, I sit here imagining this woman huffy and indignant because someone called her on her crap (pun intended). Oh, the humanity

Wow, I've encountered many puddles of dog piss in PetCo, but not so much poop (glad).
Maybe she was hoping the dog-poop-paw to stink up her car and home, and was mad that her plans were foiled? I can't imagine someone being mad about that
