so, it wasn't a customer, but it was still a really sucky person!
every wednesday at work, we have floor crew to come and clean our floors. they usually take forever, but we told them last night, we were going to the movies, and they needed to hurry up so we could get out on time. they actually listened and we got out late, but at a reasonable time! Yay! but as me and my manager are leaving(we were meeting another coworker for the movies) we saw a guy was pulling out of the parking lot at the american legion, and ran over a pile of snow....and was stuck.
first, we got my coworkers car from the parking lot across the street and pulled up behind him. then we got out, and i offered himhelp. i looked around his tires, and there was a decent amount of snow the drivers side, so i used my feet to get some out. then i went to the other side of the car...
oh my goodness that pile of snow was deep. he couldnt back over it, or go forward, so we had no choice put to dig the snow out. i had to use my hands some, cause there was too much for me to just kick it out of the way. my coworker helped some, but not too much. i then had her get her ice scraper and tried to use it like a shovel.
did i mention i had no hat or gloves on? oh, and that right now, we are experiencing horribly frigid conditions? well, for my area its frigid. our high today, is 1 degree.right now, its -8.last night when we left, i think it might have been zero degrees...(i had only expected to go from work, to car, to movies, to car, to home!)
so i finally get enough snow out from under the car, and we have him back up as much as he can, and then put it in drive, and we push him over the snow! yay us!
so he drives over it...and keeps going....and going...and doesn't stop....doesn't stick his hand ot the window or anything to say thanks or anything.
i was so irritated,. when i got back in my coworkers car, i finally felt the cold inmy hands, and they hurt really bad. it hurt to wiggle my fingers or do anything, but i did it anyways to get the blood flowin!
this guy was lucky we were even there. like i said, we were a little late for leaving work. about 15 minutes. normally, we would have already been gone. if it wasn't for floor crew, he wouldn't have had our help. also, he was lucky we weren't late for the movie, cause we might have been the type of person to leave somebody stuck so they could get to the movies on time....by the way, we saw The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. awesome movie! must see!
karma will get him....
