  • Well Now im Never going there again

Across the street from my work is a gas station, since it is the closet and cheapest within a block most of us go there. If i have to i will get gas there (if im like empty and need to go to work in 5 minutes) but i will never go into the convenience store ever again.
I go to get gas before work. I pre-pay with a 20 and only put in 15.90. I go in to get my change and see vitaminwater. And my favorite flavor (hard to find it sells out fast). Its on sale for 2 for 2.22 not the best price but reasonable.
i grab two and head to the cashier and say these and the change from pump 5.
he rings me up and at first its 21.39. I OWE HIM?!?!
I look at him and say "So the vitamin water ISNT 2 for 2.22 like the sign (think big sign with pictures of the products and say there original price and the discount) said?
the guy rolls his eyes and says its 20.34.
I look at him again and raise an eyebrown and say" 20.34... are you sure?"
he sighs and glares at me and says again "20.34"
I pull two quarters and say "I would like my change too"
then i walk out the door.
so i origanlly gave the store a 20
    got 15.90 in gas.
Got two dirnks that SHOULD have been 2.22.
and ended up owing 34 cents.
for those who ahvent done the math yet
    15.90+2.22= 18.12
if there was tax on the drinkes it would have been 15.90+ (2.22*1.08) or 15.90+ 2.40 which equels 18.40
either he double charged me (rang up four drinks instead of two) or charged me extra tax on my gas and the drinks.
what ever it was i aint going back there i know the people who run the two closer to me fairly well, the employees are never rude and i have never been over charged at those stores.
also he was so rude it isnt worth it.

sounds a bit like me and the Carls Jr on North Temple, not only do they always end up overcharging me, but they are unable to comprehend what a Jalepeno is (seriously, twice now I've ordered a Jalepeno burger and been given a guacomolee burger, my coworkers have had the same thing happen... and it's not that I don't speak clearly, even rushed over our crappy two way radios my coworkers can tell when I say Jalepeno and guacomolee). I may use their restroom if I'm desperate, but otherwise, I'm never going back (and unlike SCs I will make good on that promise )
If you wish to find meaning, listen to the music not the song

Smiley, have you considered ordering a guac burger just to see what you get?

In a wierd coincidence, "Gone Daddy, Gone" just came up on my playlist whilst reading this thread. I am amused.

With his luck, he'd get exactly what he ordered.
