Bet that Mickey D's had their wait times for drive thru orders shot completely to hell and got ripped a new one for that.

I was BSing with a manager at Taco Bell last weekend, and he told me that one night they ended up with a wait time of 900 seconds (roughly 15 minutes.) Why? Because some extremely drunk woman placed an order, and then pulled up to the window and passed out. They tried to wake her up, without success, and ended up calling the police. Meanwhile, the cars are piling up behind her.

When the cops finally woke her up, she tried to say she wasn't driving, despite her being out cold in the driver's seat when they got there. Then she tried to say she didn't know how she got there, which might have been true with how smashed she was. Either way, the cops arrested her.

That pisses me off when people pull that shit in drive-thru at 11 o'clock at night. One time when I was working at Wendy's some idiot had TWENTY-SEVEN orders!

The cars behind him waited about 45 MINUTES for their orders because of it and were pissed because one was on lunch-break.

And the thing is that our franchise owner's policy on this is that you MUST take ALL orders, no matter how big or how many per car.
