Oh since we all know that Greece gets a cut of every Greek salad sold . This reminds me of when our congress went bonkers and declared that all french fries be called "Freedom Fries". Yeah that'll teach 'em!

Especially since, as I've been told, the term "French Fries" was an insult to France, originally. Not sure if it's true, but...

the french term is 'frites'.

And IIRC, Congress never really seriously discussed changing the name.

Businesses may have, but then again, businesses did the same thing with certain cuts of steak during WWII.
