  • Messing up a SC

Today, I was at a local drug store (Shopper's Drug Mart) picking up some items and at the check-out just exchanged a few nice words with the check-out lady as my credit card was taking it's time to process and there was no-one else at the counter.

Of-course this continues for a short while as the two sheets (bill and signing bill) are being printed and also I had to sign my name.

While the printing was occuring a SC came up and started huffing and then complaining about how long the check-out person was taking to serve her (while my bills are still being printed).

This automaticly set up my temper, so I loudly asked (I have no shame ), "Why are you complaining about her? I am the one talking and taking the time to sign the bill. That is not her fault, why not complain to me instead?".

She just muttered under her breath, paid her bill and left ... bet I ruined the rest of her day.

Because you, as another customer, don't have a manager nearby to give her freebies, that's why.
