If the bill was 20 bucks and I drop a 50 then walk away without waiting for change, yeah...short of that, no.
I agree with PE -- If I can't afford a tip, I can't really afford to be blowing money on eating out.

There's plenty of things to jump on Oprah about, but tipping isn't one of them.
She can be a very demanding customer, as former coworkers (personal shoppers at the old Chicago FAO Schwarz) of mine have found out. That said, if you give her top notch service consistently, you've got a well-paying customer for life.
