No way he had any right to be pissed at you, AT ALL. You didn't lie to him. You didn't mislead him. And you are under no obligation, either moral or legal, to hang up first. If his boss won't let him hang up after you say "no," that's on his boss, not on you.
Well, I didn't mean pissed at me. But you're right. He didn't have to continue the call after I said I wasn't interested.
It is a terrible thing to see and have no vision.
