I've seen that sign before. I once thought about hanging it on all our service vans at the plumbing/appliance repair company..
You'd be amazed (or maybe not) how many people think it's a wonderful idea to have their pretty little 13 year old girl alone at home to let the random, strange old man plumber in to their house to fix their *insert problem here* and get ANGRY when we inform them that for liability purposes we will not be coming to their home.

Our plumbers don't hesitate to ask for ID if the person looks younger than 18. Even though we know our workers and trust them never do behave that way, we are NOT having one of those crazy people sue us claiming our plumber was inappropriate with their child
