Question for those working in the industry: do you get a lot of "recycled" cups? Meaning, people buying a cup of soda, refilling and drinking to their heart's content, then taking the cup home with them and reusing it at a later date (or in another location)?

And people wonder why several independently owned "fast food" joints don't allow the customers to get their own drinks. Behind the counter is where the fountain belongs.

On this side of the Pond (as well as the Channel, I guess), the fountain is behind the counter, even in big chains like McD. Heck, even at Pizza Hut, where you can have a combo with free drink refills, you have to ask for a pitcher from the waiter/waitress.
