Ok so my dad just told me this one. It happened at our local supermarket.
Ok so my dad was on the line for buying groceries when this happened:
SC gets $55 worth of groceries. He hands the cashier $60 in cash. He gets his change and he decides he wants to break his $100. He asks for 4 $20 and 2 $10. The cashier tells him that she doesn't have the change to break the $100 so he should go to customer service. He refuses to go. Then the cashier next to her tries to help, but he doesn't have enough change either. They tell him again to go to customer service and he refuses to go. The line of which my dad is standing on is holding up and the line is growing. The SC even asks for his money back and he threatened to leave his groceries there if he didn't get his change! In the end, he gives up with trying to break his $100 and he takes his groceries and leaves.
So the SC held up a line, wanted his money back and even wanted to leave his groceries there just because they couldn't break his $100?! All he had to do was go to customer service and they would've gave him what he wanted. How ridiculous!
