Okay, this one happened to a co-worker that I witnessed the tail end of. back when ps3 first came out they were limited to 1 per customer and that policy was posted in several places on the class of the diplay case in bold print. so, this black lady comes in and asks *bill* to open the case for a ps3. then she tells him she wan'ts two and of course he tells her she can't have two. this is what i hear an asile away.
why not? cuz I'm BLACK?!

later i'm told she even does the *oh no you didn't* head bob thing from bill.

yes. because your black we have screwed you out of a second ps3 and ourselves out of a sale just. because. your. black. she takes her one measly ps3 and leaves after bill takes the time to explain the policy of the store and point out the big freaken sign NEXT TO HER HEAD.

these people piss me off. not black people, I could give a damn about that. but people who blame their race on anything that doesn't go their way. seriously, grow up, get with the times and stop listening to ol' grampappy fuck everybody that isn't your color. there's a reason why they shipped his ass to the old folks home.

We got that every so often at "Daddy Jim's Pizza" way back when.

- First of all, video phones aren't exactly the rage, and I doubt they'd let us use them if they were commonplace, so WE DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU LOOK LIKE

- Second, Our phones at the time lacked Caller ID, so we have to depend on what you say your address is to decide whether or not we can go there

- Finally, our delivery areas were defined BY CONTRACT. As it happens, Dear Caller, your address falls into an area owned by a different DaddyJim's franchise. If we were to send a driver your way and he got spotted or ratted out, the least that would happen is that the driver would likely get fired or punished in some other way. The likely outcome is that we'd get sued for breach of contract, and possibly even lose our franchise rights for violating the Franchise agreement -- meaning the store goes bye-bye AND place other stores owned by the same people in jeopardy.

In other words, NO, and it has nothing to do with your race.

My friend, you may think that its bad when someone asks if its because they're black... But its worse when they quite visibly AREN'T Black. They're quite clearly white.

I have black friends too.

But I think that since two of them are really preppy and one is goth as Death* that they don't count towards my wigger quotient.

Nah it's because they start thinking that Black is like Hispanic, it's not so much a race as a culture... (fratching aside, that's mainly what Hispanic is) and I should note this is SOOOOOOO very wrong, since well it's hard to peg this down without getting called out on stereotyping.
