Epic Self Pwnage

I heard this from a coworker who got it from his brother that works in the hotel where it happened. This happened yesterday morning.

The hotel has a water park, which is closed during school hours. This woman comes to the front desk, very upset about the water park being closed, and when she is informed that it opens at 4 p.m., after school hours, proceeds to proclaim that she'll call in bomb threats to every school in the area.

This hotel happened to be hosting a convention. A convention of state and local police. Which means that there were at least a few dozen of them handily to hand.

Yes, she was arrested, and in rather short order.

Oh, and one other tidbit that makes it all even funnier. This lady turned out to have warrants out for her. I don't know how many, but definitely plural. Way to go, lady, way to go.

She apologised as soon as she saw that the guards had heard but she still was arrested and later got ten days prison for bomb threats. Don't even think the word bomb when you are flying, they take it very seriously.

Actually, I think there have been several incidents at CPH Airport where travellers have joked about bombs and got arrested on the spot.

IIRC, there even was an incident (still in Copenhagen) where a passenger made a "bomb joke" WHILE THE PLANE WAS TAXI-ING TO THE RUNWAY. Needless to say that the plane went straight back to the gate, all passengers were evacuated and the "joker" could look forward to felony charges, a hefty fee from airport authorities AND a lawsuit from the flight company...
