When I was a manager at the pub, I used to be in two hours before we opened, and even then I would have people outside wanting a beer. What irritated me the most was it was the same ones every single day! They knew what time we opened. The answer was always no when they asked to be let in early, and yet they were there all the time.

They would always press their faces up against the glass. Once, the window cleaner had just been and saw them doing it. He went absolutely ape-shit.

We have people who do that at my work all the time. I usually don't open but when I do I get the pleasure of seeing someone's face smashed against our door. And when they see me looking in their general direction they knock on the door. I have no issue with making them wait but I'm sometimes told to just let them inside. -_-

Oh lord, you bosses might as well just say 'We want to be shot and robbed and raped'.
